Andrew and Jesse Diekhoff acquired Colonial Classics in 2024 with the backing of local investors who believed in what this company stands for. Same name. Same pride. New energy.
Andrew Diekhoff
President
Andrew grew up in the landscaping industry and brings over 15 years of experience to Colonial Classics. When he and Jesse acquired the company in 2024 with the backing of local investors, they saw a legacy worth preserving and a future worth building. He serves as president of the board of directors for Keep Evansville Beautiful, bringing the same commitment to community stewardship that drives everything Colonial does.
Jesse Diekhoff
Co-Owner
Jesse is shaping the retail experience at Colonial Classics, turning the garden center into a destination worth visiting. From curating seasonal displays to expanding the houseplant and home décor collections, she brings an eye for detail and a passion for making every visit feel special.

Nick Shaw
Nursery & Garden Center Manager
Nick has been with Colonial since 2001. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana along with certifications in ornamental landscaping and turf pest management. He stepped into the manager role in 2013 and knows the garden center inside and out.

Issac Lechnor
Retail Assistant Manager
Issac joined Colonial in 2023 with 15 years of horticulture experience from some of the most respected gardens in the country, including Yew Dell Botanical Gardens and the Biltmore Estate. He holds a degree in horticulture science from Vincennes University and loves helping customers find the perfect plant.

Adam Allford
Maintenance Manager
Adam started at Colonial in 2018 and stepped into the maintenance manager role in 2022. His approach is straightforward: work with you to create and maintain a landscape you love. From seasonal cleanups to year-round care plans, he takes pride in keeping your property at its best.

Ciara Cannon
Maintenance Manager
With over seven years in the landscape industry, Ciara brings hands-on experience across nursery operations, maintenance, and design. She values the relationships she builds with customers and takes a personal approach to making sure every property she manages gets the care it deserves.

Brian Schipp
Landscape Designer
Brian has been designing landscapes since 1995. He holds a degree in landscape design and horticulture from Vincennes University and brings decades of field experience to every project. His philosophy is simple: show up, work hard, and deliver an outdoor space you will enjoy for years.

Renae Newton
Landscape Designer
Renae has spent over a decade at Colonial, combining design talent with deep horticulture knowledge and strong project management skills. She draws creative inspiration from nature and translates that into outdoor spaces that feel both intentional and natural.

Bob Stanton
Logistics Supervisor
Bob joined Colonial in 2019 and keeps the supply chain running smoothly. He manages bulk product ordering and delivery logistics, making sure the right materials are where they need to be when your project is ready for them.

Julia Batey
Office Manager
Julia joined Colonial in December 2022, bringing 26 years of banking experience and nine years in accounting to the operations side. She keeps everything running behind the scenes, from scheduling to billing, and values the collaborative team environment.

Theresa Henning
Assistant Office Manager
Theresa has been with Colonial for over four years, starting in retail before moving into her current office role. She grew up in the area and brings a genuine connection to the community Colonial serves.
