Jesse Diekhoff has loved flowers for as long as she can remember. She started Jesse Jeanne's in 2021 preserving blooms out of a spare bedroom, and it grew into a full boutique. Every order still passes through her hands, and she keeps it that way on purpose. The person you plan your flowers with is the person who makes them.
Her style leans loose and garden-grown rather than stiff and symmetrical, built largely from naturally grown blooms sourced from local farms. Tell her the feeling you are going for and she will build around it, which is why no two arrangements come out the same.

Jesse and her husband Andrew acquired Colonial Classics in 2024. The flower shop now works out of our Newburgh location at 3633 Epworth Road, which means the person arranging your flowers is the same person helping run the garden center.

Flower preservation is where we started, and it is still what we are known for. Blooms from a wedding, a funeral, a first birthday, or a graduation get dried and sealed so they hold their color for years instead of days.
It is not only flowers. Breastmilk, ashes, hair, and small pieces of fabric can be set into a keepsake piece too, on their own or alongside petals from the same day.

Is there a florist at Colonial Classics?
Yes. Jesse Jeanne's Flowers, our full-service flower shop, is now inside our Newburgh location at 3633 Epworth Road. You can order fresh arrangements, wedding flowers, sympathy pieces, and flower preservation, then pick everything up in the same trip you make for plants, mulch, or pottery.
How do I order flowers from Jesse Jeanne's?

Flower orders run through that storefront rather than our main Colonial Classics line, so you get the florist instead of the landscaping office. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express at checkout.
Do you deliver flowers in Newburgh and Evansville?

What is flower preservation?
Flower preservation is the process of drying and sealing flowers from a meaningful event so they last for years instead of days. We press and frame blooms as wall art, plus a set list of keepsake pieces. Wedding, funeral, and milestone bouquets are all common projects.
What can you preserve besides flowers?
More than flowers. Breastmilk, ashes, hair, and small pieces of fabric or clothing can all be set into a keepsake piece, either on their own or alongside petals from the same occasion. Bring us what you have and we will talk through which settings work with it.
How does breastmilk jewelry work?
Bring us one ounce of breastmilk, frozen or thawed. You pick your setting at the shop and we start from there, and you can add flowers, hair, or ashes to the same piece. If your setting is in stock it takes about a week. If we need to order it in, allow a few weeks.
Can I request a custom preservation piece?
Start with the options listed on our preservation pages, which cover pressed frames plus a range of jewelry settings. If you have something specific in mind, ask us. We can often order in a different setting. What we can take on changes, so message us with what you are picturing and we will tell you what is possible right now.
How long does flower preservation take?
It depends on the piece. Plan on 9 to 12 months for a full flower preservation order, about 10 to 14 weeks for a pressed frame on its own, and roughly a week for jewelry when the setting is already in stock. Every piece is preserved start to finish by Jesse herself, and that patient, hands-on process is what makes the result last.
Can I order flowers for a funeral home?
Yes. When placing a funeral order, give us the name of the deceased, the name of the funeral home, and the date and time of the viewing so the arrangement arrives before the service begins. We make casket sprays and sympathy wreaths on easels.
Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?
Not exactly, and that is by design. We build each arrangement from the best seasonal blooms available that week, sourced largely from local farms, so substitutions of equal or greater value are sometimes necessary. We always honor the overall shape, size, style, and color palette.

Same family, same address. Jesse Diekhoff is a co-owner of Colonial Classics and the florist behind Jesse Jeanne's, so the flower shop is part of what we do here at 3633 Epworth Road.
